My wife is a big Bears fan and we spent last Thursday night watching the game on national TV.
Unfortunately, the Chargers clobbered our home team in LA. The young upstart Tyson Bagent went in after having a great game the week before and got clobbered. So sad to see a young fellow go from “hero to zero” in a week.
The difference between the winning and losing teams is much about talent, but also about confidence and belief in their future. Any NFL team can win on a given Sunday (or Thursday or Monday) when they work together and get momentum going in the right direction. At the professional level, the players are all pretty good, just some teams gel and succeed.
Our fates are somewhat like the team that is struggling but there’s underlying ability that has yet to be tapped. Never stop trying, since we can all learn and advance no matter what the circumstance. The “winner” is the one with a positive attitude.
