The sky is blue but the air quality is not up to our usual standards. The wildfires in Canada made New York turn orange, so we in Chicago are seeing a less intense wave of particles than our neighbors to the north. Our weather reports include air quality updates, and it’s worth taking note, particularly if you are sensitive due to asthma or other chronic lung conditions.
Best to use good judgement about how to handle the reports of poor air quality if you feel it’s irritating or making you cough. HEPA filters are a nice way to remove particles indoors and an N95 mask (left over from covid) would help if you feel that the outside air is bugging you.
And the air in the dojo is pristine – both in person and online!
